MATCH PREVIEW: FIRST MEET SECOND IN WEEK TWO OF NEW CAMPAIGN

Sunday afternoon's game sees the early pacesetters meet as Connah's Quay Nomads host The New Saints in the JD Welsh Premier League.

Both sides started the campaign in the best possible way last week as TNS defeated Barry 5-1, only to be outdone by The Nomads' 7-0 victory away at Llanelli.

TNS come in to the game having played in Denmark on Thursday evening in their Europa League Third Qualifying Round second leg match with FC Midtjylland, so Andy Morrison's men will no doubt be looking to take full advantage of this fast turnaround for the league champions.  TNS fell to a 5-1 aggregate defeat to the Danish champions, losing out 3-1 on the night in Denmark.

The last time that TNS were at Deeside was in early March where The Nomads overturned an early Aeron Edwards goal to come out 2-1 winners in the JD Welsh Cup Quarter Final en route to the club's first ever Welsh Cup victory.

Ahead of the game, Andy Morrison said "After a great performance and result in our first game of the season away at Llanelli, we head into's today's fixture against TNS firmly on the front foot.  Our home record over the last two seasons has been exceptional - that record will be tested today - every player and member of staff will have to be at the top of their game if we are to get the result we are aiming for against TNS."

Team News
Callum Morris sits out the final game of his three match ban following his red card at Cefn Druids at the conclusion of last season - Danny Harrison is expected to make a return to the squad however Michael Wilde and Laurence Wilson are doubtful.
