Barry Town United
JD Welsh Premier League

Saturday afternoon will see Connah's Quay Nomads aim to maintain our 100% start to the season as we travel to Jenner Park to face Barry Town United.
The Nomads come into the game on the back of three straight victories in the new JD Welsh Premier League with victories already recorded over Llanelli, TNS and Aberystwyth, scoring 10 goals and conceding just one in the process.
Barry currently sit 7th in the table following an indifferent start to the season which has seen them record one victory, one draw and one defeat, as well as also being knocked out of the Nathaniel MG Cup on Tuesday night at the hands of Cambrian & Clydach who held Barry 0-0 after extra time and went on to win 3-1 on penalties, so there is no doubt the Gavin Chesterfield's men will be looking to bounce back from that disappointment.
Our last trip to Jenner Park was in late October 2017 where an early George Horan header was enough to give The Nomads the 1-0 victory. Ahead of the game, Andy Morrison said "Nine points from nine is obviously the perfect start but I still feel that there is so much more to come from this group of players.
We head down to Barry with a great energy and belief within the club - every player wants to be in the starting lineup and those playing know that they have to be right at the top of their game to keep the shirt.
I was very impressed with Barry last season and went on record in saying that I felt they would be areal force this season - they have kept their best players and improved their squad with quality additions, so we know we will have to be right at the top of our game if we are to leave south Wales with the result we are going there to get."
We are still awaiting 100% confirmation on the availability of new signing Craig Jones, while both Danny Holmes and Laurence Wilson will be subject to late fitness tests having both left the field against Aberystwyth with injuries.
