Connah's Quay Nomads can today confirm that 23 year old defender, Ben Nash has returned to the club.

Nash was a part of the club's Academy setup as both a player and coach in his younger years and was part of the Club's first ever Coleg Cambria Scholarship team that won the U19 National Colleges Final in 2015 as well as making the Welsh Youth Cup Final in May 2016.

Nash made his Nomads league debut against TNS in December 2014 at the age of just 16 and went on to make a handful of other appearances, travelling to both Norway and Serbia as part of our first ever Europa League matches before heading to Buckley Town on loan before joining Denbigh Town in late 2016 before spending time at Rhyl before most recently joining Flint in 2020, becoming an ever-present in their defensive lineup during the past two seasons.

On Nash's return, Craig Harrison commented; "Ben was excellent this past season and always impressed me when we played against Flint. He's strong, athletic and a natural attacker of the ball. He's a good defender and great in both boxes at set plays and a great competitor.

Ben is still young for a defender as well so I still think there is more to come from him and I'm really looking forward to working with Ben in the future."
Welcome back to the club Ben!
