Connah's Quay Nomads are delighted to announce that George Horan and Callum Morris have both agreed new one year deals with the club.

Horan holds the club record for most appearances with 448 competitive starts and 6 substitute appearances, whilst also being sixth in the club's all-time goalscoring charts on 55 goals. During his time at the club, Horan has won almost everything available to him, captaining the side to two JD Cymru Premier titles, a JD Welsh Cup, two Nathaniel MG Cup victories and also the Europa Playoffs. Horan also popped up with two goals in our last European campaign as he broke Francesco Totti's record as the oldest goalscorer in the competition when we faced Aremian side Alashkert at Aberystwyth back in 2021.

Callum Morris holds a similar status at the club having made 280 starts for the club, racking up 78 goals for the club in all competitions, with a number of his goals coming on some big European occasions, including The Nomads' first ever European goal against Stabæk back in 2016 and also his penalty against Kilmarnock which secured our huge victory over the Scottish side.

Similarly to Horan, Morris has also won the JD Cymru Premier twice, along with the JD Welsh Cup and Nathaniel MG Cup twice, not forgetting the Europa Playoff victory in 2016 also.

The pair have both signed new one year deals at the club to keep them with The Nomads until the conclusion of the 2023/24 campaign.
