Connah's Quay Nomads can today confirm that 22-year-old John Oyenuga has joined the club.

Oyenuga has been training with the side for the past month since making a brief appearance against Flint Town United in The Nomads' final pre-season game. Oyenuga came on in the second half and setup the third goal on the night for The Nomads following some neat play down the right wing.

Prior to his arrival at Deeside, Oyenuga has played for Walton & Hersham, Farnborough and Aylesbury United.

On his latest signing, Manager Andy Morrison said "John is another young lad with real potential - great energy and electric pace who has done great during his trial and deserves his contract until January. As with all of the recent signings, John will have to be patient and make sure he is fit when his chance arises and be ready to make my life difficult when I'm picking my starting eleven for the next game."

The Nomads will await international clearance from the English FA before John can play for the club, however he will wear the number 25 shirt at Deeside.
