Connah's Quay Nomads can today confirm that the club have released Mathias Bakare, John Oyenuga and Melford Simpson.
The trio of Bakare, Oyenuga and Simpson joined the club in August 2017 following successful trial periods with the club. Both Oyenuga and Simpson got on the scoresheet for The Nomads with Oyenuga scoring against Cwmbran Celtic in the JD Welsh Cup while Melford Simpson scored a late winner against Carmarthen Town and also netted another substitute goal against Aberystwyth Town.
Manager, Andy Morrison thanked the players following their departures, saying "I'd like to thank the lads for their time at Deeside - they have been excellent professionals in their spell with the club and Melford popped up with a vital goal at Carmarthen in October that gave us all three points, which come the end of the season could prove all-important."
The club would like to with Mathias, John and Melford all the best in the future.
