Connah's Quay Nomads today confirmed that both Michael Bakare and Rhys Williams have extended their contracts with the Club until January 2019.

Both Michael and Rhys joined The Nomads in August 2017 as full-time players and have both been regular members of the first team squad since.

Bakare has made nine starts and 11 substitute appearances, scoring four goals, including a contender for December's goal of the month with his strike against Newtown.

Williams meanwhile has made two starts in the Nathaniel MG Cup, conceding no goals in the 2-0 victories over both Bangor City and Airbus, and has also earned valuable playing experience in The Nomads' U19 team, who currently sit third in the league with three games in-hand over second placed Bangor City and first placed TNS.

Manager, Andy Morrison said "Rhys has worked very hard both technically with Neil Ebbrell and physically with his individual program and we are beginning to see that hard work come through.

Michael has bought into the work ethic and physical demands of playing for Connah's Quay Nomads - his all round game has improved and I believe there is still a lot more to come from Baks."
