This past weekend saw The Nomads host an Easter Football Tournament which raised over £2,500 for the gap charity foundation.
Over Friday and Saturday, the tournament hosted at The Quay 3G saw more then 300 players from 48 separate teams take part from across North Wales and the North West.
Watched by over 500 parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, the two day event saw four age groups compete across U8-U11 with videos of each team being recorded (and currently uploaded to our YouTube channel).
After the momentous 48 hours, the spectacular event raised over £2,500 for the gap charity foundation.
gap personnel CEO, Gary Dewhurst said "On behalf of gap personnel, I'd like to give a huge thank you to tournament organisers Jay Catton and Leighton Sumner and I hope they enjoy a well deserved few days off."
The gap charity foundation has been established as part of the group's 20th anniversary celebrations to coordinate and improve the group's charitable activities and deliver even better results.
