The Nomads are pleased to announce that the Club will compete in the 2017/18 UEFA Europa League Qualifying Rounds.
The Club's place in the former UEFA Cup was confirmed as they defeated Bala Town on Saturday afternoon. The result also confirms The Nomads' highest ever finish in the Welsh Premier League and gives The Nomads European football for a second successive season.
Earlier in the month, The Nomads were awarded both the FAW Domestic and UEFA Club Licenses, meaning that all the required paperwork was in place for the Club to compete in Europe.
The Nomads will finish the season at least third, and will aim to secure second place as they now complete the season with a visit to Cardiff Met on Saturday 22nd April, before waiting until Monday, 19th June to find out who their opponents will be in the UEFA Europa League. The first leg on the First Qualifying Round will take place on Thursday 29th June while the second leg will take place a week later on July 6th.
Some of the names already in the hat include Dinamo Minsk, AIK, Levadia Tallinn, Shamrock Rovers, AIK Helsinki as well as fellow Welsh Premier League qualifiers, Bala Town. The Nomads will be travelling to Switzerland for the draw, so make sure to check back closer to the date for all the build up to the draw as well as live reaction from the draw itself.
