Morrison gives his thoughts following Bala draw

Following The Nomads' 1-1 draw with Bala Town in the first game of the JD Welsh Premier League's Phase Two, Andy Morrison spoke to Nik Mesney to give his thoughts on the result.

Started Well
"We've started well in the game, we've dictated the pace, we've been on top and got into great areas, scored a good goal - we've then had a tap-in from three yards out which has completely mis-timed the ball, which puts it at 2-0 and then we've had a penalty decision..."

We switched off
"Second half, we've started tremendous[ly], we kept them pinned in, they didn't look like they could get out and then we switched off on the goal - I'm absolutely furious with the goal because it's our own doing, it's just laziness, it's just mental laziness to stand in the right position when you're out of possession of the ball... and it's their only shot on goal, albeit a great strike, but it's their only shot on goal in the game..."

The lads were fantastic
"I thought the lads were fantastic - everything that came into the box we dealt with, everything that was thrown at us we dealt with, every second ball that came in, the lads squeezed the ball so we won the headers and we picked up the knock-downs... one man switches off and it costs us winning the game, it's as simple as that."
