It has today been confirmed that The Nomads' JD Welsh Cup Semi Final tie against Bangor City will take place at Rhyl's Corbett Sports Stadium on Saturday 7th April.

The game will take place at 7:35pm on Saturday, 7th April and will be broadcast live on S4C. The Nomads have played at Rhyl as a neutral venue in recent times, picking up a 0-0 draw against Norwegian side, Stabæk before going on to defeat them 1-0 at Fredrikstad in the 2016/17 UEFA Europa League.

The match marks the third successive season that The Nomads have reached the Welsh Cup Semi Finals since Andy Morrison joined the Club. It is not however the first time that The Nomads have met Bangor in a semi final, having lost out 1-0 in the 2010/11 season thanks to an 83rd minute winner from Chris Jones.

When asked about the fixture being played at Rhyl, Andy Morrison simply replied saying; "It's the perfect venue."
