Morrison praises fantastic Semi Final performance

Date Published: Sunday, 8th April, 2018 - 9:00am

Following The Nomads' emphatic 6-1 victory over Bangor City in the JD Welsh Cup Semi Final, Andy Morrison spoke to Nik Mesney.

A fantastic performance
"A fantastic performance... thoroughly deserved and 8, 9, 10 goals wouldn't have flattered us today, we were that good, we were that much better than them."

Andy Owens
"Andy was unplayable - I went and watched Andy play for Skelmersdale - I went and had a look at him because I knew of his pedigree and I saw enough in his attributes to know that he will play in the Welsh Premier League and cause a lot of problems. What he has to do is listen and learn and keep improving like Michael Bakare has."

Bangor never stopped
"Credit to Bangor, they never stopped - sometimes in football matches there's a point where you're three or four down and it would be very hard to win 5[-4], but they kept going and of course that left them a little bit open, but they'll be a very dangerous animal come next Saturday because they're wounded and they'll be hurting after that."
