Wednesday saw the JD Welsh Premier League announce the fixtures for Phase One of the 2018-19 campaign and The Nomads' will start the season on the road for the third successive season.
The season starts for The Nomads on Sunday 12th August at newly promoted Llanelli AFC before hosting TNS the following Friday night at Deeside Stadium. August concludes with a visit from Welsh Cup Final opposition, Aberystwyth Town.
We find ourselves in a live televised game on September 22nd when we travel to Maesdu to face Llandudno.
The Christmas double-header comes in the form of Bala Town as we visit Maes Tegid on Boxing Day before hosting the Lakesiders on New Years Day, before closing out Phase One at Carmarthen Town on January 12th.

On the announcement, Andy Morrison said "Every year the league gets stronger and the fixtures looked at on mass can be daunting - thankfully you only ever play one game at a time and that's how we always' go about things - our sole attention will be given to the away game at Llanelli.
Playing against a promoted team is never easy, but we showed last season, away at newly promoted Prestayn, that if we do things right, we will be a very difficult team to play against. I wasn't happy at playing the first game of last season away to Prestatyn as we started the previous season away at Carmarthen, so why we are playing away again on the first day of the season for the third year running is beyond me, but it doesn't surprise me."
