Morrison: A fantastic win

Following Connah's Quay Nomads' 2-1 victory over Aberystwyth Town on Friday night, Andy Morrison spoke to Nik Mesney as his side continued their 100% record in the JD Welsh Premier League.

A fantastic win
"It's a fantastic performance and win and it's largely down to the fact that they probably owe their manager a perormance tonight which he got from them and we've been on the back of two fantastic performances, so it's a slightly different way tonight..."

Losing two full backs really upset us
"Going into the second half, you're thinking you're in a really comfy position, but losing two full backs really upset us and we completely lost the shape and our organisation and I think it was just about being dogged then and like I say, I think it's the 91'st minute they've got a goal, but then that doesn't happen if it's a defensive-minded players that's in there, but fantastic again..."

It was really important about getting the three points tonight
"Of course I'm disappointed to concede a goal - I always am but it was really important about getting the three points tonight because they were always going to be a tough team to play against and I'm delighted, especially going in now to a really tough game away at Barry next week."
