Nomads slide down the Welsh Premier League table continued at Afan Lido, with the home side securing their first win in 11 attempts with 2 set piece goals scored from a first minute free kick and a 33rd minute penalty. Alan Hooley replied for Nomads in the 85th minute, but it was too little too late.

MARK McGREGOR admitted he and his players let themselves down in a disappointing defeat at rock-bottom Afan Lido on Saturday, who ended a ten-match losing streak.
There was less than 60 seconds on the clock when the relegation-threatened hosts took the lead through an in-swinging Chris Hartland free kick.
A Mark Jones penalty doubled the advantage in the 33rd minute and Nomads could have had no complaints had they been further behind at the break as they also conceded a disallowed goal.
Nomads were unable to find the net until five minutes from time, through Alan Hooley’s first goal of the season, and by then the damage had been done.
McGregor, who lost Craig Jones and Rob Jones on the eve of the game due to pressing family commitments, said: “We didn’t do justice ourselves but full credit to Lido, they did a good job.
“We prepared properly, staying overnight before the game, but we conceded a first-minute goal and it all stemmed from there.”
