RHYL hit the top of the table with a victory that ended as comfortable, but they were made to fight hard for a breakthrough after wasting several early chances.
Two goals inside three minutes settled the game, Matty Williams getting on the end of a ball over the top of the Nomads' defence from Chris Williams to fire past Terry McCormick for the opener on 64 minutes.
And sub Marc Connolly put the game out of reach with a simple tap-in after George Horan had flicked-on a left wing long throw.
The Lilywhites had opened strongly with John Leah rattling the crossbar from 20 yards and also drawing a save from McCormick with another effort.
Lee Hunt just failed to get on the end of a Martyn Naylor cross but, after riding the storm, Quay had chances themselves with Mark McGregor trying an overhead kick and Craig Jones shooting just wide of the far post.
A poor pass towards his own defence from Tyrone Kirk let-in Jamie Petrie, who forced James Coates to make a good save and Andy Alston headed over from a Tom Baker corner.
Only a flying save from McCormick denied Naylor from a free-kick just before the break but, once Rhyl had scored their goals the game was over as a contest and Hunt missed the chance to add a third, firing over the bar, before being denied by a McCormick save.
