A GOAL from Jack Abraham was enough to hand Flintshire bragging rights to Airbus UK Broughton after a full-blooded derby on Deeside.
The decisive goal arrived midway through the second-half after some sustained pressure from the visitors, when Abraham's shot from outside the box deflected off a Nomads' defender to defeat keeper Terry McCormick.
The win was no more than the Wingmakers deserved after dominating much of the possession in driving rain.
McCormick made a number of good saves with defenders giving a helping hand with some crucial clearances.
Marc Lloyd Williams twice wasted good chances for the visitors while home strikers Chris Herbert and Aaron Burns appealed unsuccessfully for penalties.
Nomads' had a chance to level but Hayes sent his shot over the bar from close range and a cross from Jamie Petrie just eluded Burns.
