CAERSWS were torn apart on Deeside as Connah's Quay finally found their shooting boots for their best win of the campaign.
Needing to win all their remaining games to have a realistic chance of reaching the Super 12, Nomads were two goals to the good inside the first 17 minutes.
Mark McGregor won the ball in the Bluebirds' box to set-up Sam McNutt, who drove the ball home from close range and, within two minutes, Mike Hayes doubled the lead when Andy Alston knocked-down a McNutt corner.
Another McNutt flag kick led to the third goal early in the second period when Mark McGregor headed home unchallenged.
Sub Danny Pinch got on the scoresheet three minutes after coming off the bench as he latched-on to an Aaron Burns pass to fire low into the far corner.
And Burns completed the nap hand himself six minutes from time, seizing on a loose ball just outside the box before hammering a left-footer past keeper Dave Jones.
