Chris Sharp took centre stage and had a hand in all three goals as Bangor won 3-1 at gap Connah's Quay.
There was a hint of offside about the first City goal, as a pass from Mike Walsh found Sharp who burst through to hit the post, with Sion Edwards netting from the rebound.
The lead lasted just three minutes as Liam Loughlin found acres of space from Phil Doran's through ball to send an angled shot past keeper Paul Smith.
Sharp had already hit the crosbar but was credited with a goal five minutes before the break. Chris Seargeant's effort was deflected to Sharp, whose shot was punched against one of his own defenders by Nomads' keeper Chris Maxwell before it found the net.
A push by Lee Bamber as Edwards ran into the box resulted in a penalty award from referee Andy Harms and Sharp made no mistake from the spot to seal the win.
