gap Connah's Quay became the third club of the weekend to beat one of the Welsh Premier's leading trio as they defeated Llanelli 3-1 on Deeside.
The Reds led from the 17th-minute when Andy Legg's right-wing corner defeated keeper Chris Maxwell and defender Phil Clarke at the far post.
Liam Loughlin had seen an earlier 20-yarder tipped over by visiting keeper Craig Morris, while Mark Pritchard was wide for the Reds with a 12-yard effort.
Legg's set-pieces were a constant threat and Rhys Griffiths head over from one and against the crossbar from another. Maxwell beat away an Andrew Mumford shot while Loughlin saw another good shot tipped over by Morris.
But Nomads took the game to their visitors after the break with Aden Shannon's superb hook shot from the edge of the box saved by Morris.
They levelled soon afterwards when a short corner was crossed by Clarke and Andy Alston sent a looping header into the far corner.
A long ball from Clarke then found Kieran Quinn whose inside pass was hammered into the net from 20 yards by Peter Doran to give Nomads the lead.
The hosts had a let-off with a quarter of an hour to go when Maxwell saved a Griffiths penalty after Andy Alston, who was red-carded, had handled to stop a shot from sub Jordan Follows.
But the 10-men held their own and made sure of the points when Maxwell's long clearance was passed inside by Craig Jones for sub Mike Cronshaw to steer into an empty net.
