After a six-goal defeat at Bangor in their previous game, Nomads steadied the ship with a win over Caersws in a poor game at the Deeside Stadium.
The only goal of the contest arrived on 12 minutes when Liam Loughlin lashed a 30-yard free-kick past keeper John Rowley.
The hosts were generally happy to keep an ineffective Bluebirds' attack at bay, but might had added a second goal when Michael Cronshaw beat two defenders to feed Loughlin, who this time failed to find the target with an eight yard effort.
