Connah's Quay Nomads gained their first win in five attempts in a seven-goal thriller at Caersws.
Nomads were twice behind in the first-half, but fought back gamely as some shambolic defending cost the lowly Bluebirds dear in their bid to leave the danger zone.
The hosts made the ideal start when Graham Evans converted a third-minute penalty after keeper Paul Pritchard had fouled Sion Meredith, but John McAllister had Nomads level 10 minutes later.
Pritchard could only parry a shot from Meredith and Aeron Edwards scored from the rebound to restore the Caersws lead, but Stewart White's 25-yarder brought Quay level again on the half-hour.
Chris Herbert's lob over keeper Andy Mulliner put Nomads ahead for the first time, but there was more drama to come. Michael Sawtell squeezed a low free-kick past Pritchard on 79 minutes, but joy was short-lived as another home defensive mix-up allowed Craig Jones to net the winner.
