Bangor City boss Nev Powell enjoyed a sweet return to Deeside as his side triumphed 7-0 at Connah's Quay, the club he managed for 14 years until departing at the end of last season.
The hapless Nomads were woeful in defence and were breached as early as the seventh minute, Lee Webber heading past keeper Paul Forester from ex-Westender Marc Limbert's free kick.
Les Davies sliced past defenders for the second and Sion Edwards found himself in the clear with only Forester to beat just before half-time.
The Citizens piled on the woe in the second-half with Edwards completing a hat-trick including one from the penalty spot, with ex-Nomad Chris Seargeant and Ashley Stott also on target.
The scoreline was one short of Bangor's record away win - and the Nomads' heaviest-ever Welsh Premier defeat of 8-0 in the same fixture 12 years ago.
The victory lifted City into sixth place overnight, leaving Quay in 12th-place.
