Connah's Quay eased their relegation fears to leave visitors Llangefni still struggling in the drop zone after this 2-0 verdict.
Two first-half goals sealed the points for the Nomads, Wes Kilgannon setting-up Chris Melia to steer the first past Cefni keeper Farai Jackson on 12 minutes.
The visitors were out of luck on 35 minutes when an angled drive from Chris Jones hit the crossbar with keeper Paul Pritchard stranded, and Nomads all but wrapped up the points on the stroke of half time when Stuart Cook's powerful header was parried by Jackson to present Craig Jones with a simple tap-in.
A second-half comeback saw Chris Evans narrowly wide and Kevin Lloyd forcing Pritchard to scramble back onto his line to clutch a chipped shot just under the bar.
Nomads ended the game with 10-men after Cook was dismissed for serious foul play, but played out the last 10 minutes to claim a much-needed win.
