CONNAH'S Quay hit six past a young and inexperienced Airbus side at a rain-lashed Airfield.
But it was the Wingmakers who took an early lead when Sean Beck seized on a mistake by Nomads' keeper Dmitri Brinias.
From then on it was the hosts' keeper Ashley Crosswaite who was kept busy and he could only parry a curling effort from Craig Garside into the path of Tommy Mutton who headed the first of his hat-trick on 26 minutes.
Soon afterwards Garside's own header hit a post but the relief was only temporary. Quay forged ahead six minutes before the break when Adam Dickinson scored at the far post.
On the stroke of half-time, Mutton took advantage of Phil Molyneaux's chest down to add the third. and completed his threesome within four minutes of the resumption.
A foul on Dickinson saw Marc Limbert fire home from the penalty spot and the skipper added another with a curling shot from the edge of the box.
