CONNAH'S Quay continued their bright start to the campaign by easily accounting for Druids.
It took just five minutes for Nomads to open their account, Chris Sargeant pouncing and skipper Marc Limbert added a second in the 16th minute with a shot into the corner.
Former Nomad Paul Mazzarrella was stretchered off to add to the Ancients' problems and the game was virtually over on the stroke of half-time when Adam Dickenson won the ball and his pass found Stuart Cooke, whose right-fotted shot defeated Matthew Hogg.
Druids battled hard and pushed further forward to try and get some reward but Nomads were able to ride out the pressure to remain top of Group B.
