CARMARTHEN'S good run came to a grinding halt as Nomads won an entertaining encounter at Richmond Park.
Kris Thomas came close to putting the Old Gold in front when heading wide after six minutes, but it was Quay who broke the deadlock with an Adam Dickinson 20-yarder.
Town equalised deservedly six minutes before half-time through Nathan Cotterrall, but the celebrations had barely died down before Dickinson broke clear to send his volley under the body of keeper Neil Thomas.
Although Carmarthen dominated much of the second-half possession, Nomads' defence held firm and Tommy Mutton's breakaway goal eight minutes from time ensured the points went back to Deeside.
