CAERNARFON are staring relegation to the Cymru Alliance in the face after another defeat which leaves them four points adrift at the foot of the table.
They must now rely on winning games in hand and have still to face fellow strugglers Airbus twice - including on the last day of the season.
Although the Canaries battled hard against the conditions and their high-flying opponents, they had little to show for their endeavours and to compound their misery they had defender Lee Bamber sent-off late in the game for a late tackle on Gary Pinch.
Ben Heath did have a shot blocked, but the home defence was all at sea when Adam Dickinson squeezed his 44th-minute shot under keeper Paul Pritchard. Chris Williams doubled the lead shortly after the break - his fourth goal in two games - when connecting with a corner from skipper Marc Limbert.
Pritchard manfully kept the Nomads at bay with saves from Limbert and Tommy Mutton, while Darren Wright's 'goal' for the Town was disallowed.
