FOR 45 minutes it was the Adam Dickinson show at Farrar Road, as the much-wanted Nomad waged on a one-man war on Bangor.
But a great City fightback after the break put a serious dent in Quay's European hopes, with Ashley Stott leading the way.
After an early Steve Wynne effort had been beaten away by Nomads' keeper Paul Smith, Dickinson brought a superb save from Ian Havard and hit the post, before finally finding the target. Chris Sergeant's powerful shot was parried by Havard and Dickinson made no mistake on 36 minutes.
Ashley Stott's run into the box was halted by Gary Pinch, for Marc Lloyd Williams to bring the Citizens level from the penalty spot. Lloyd Williams and Paul O'Neill went close to adding another before Mark Smyth's solo goal on the hour got their noses in front.
Nomads' debutant Chris Melia saw his header go agonisingly wide before City sealed the points when a Lloyd Williams cross from the right was finished clinically by Stott.
