CONNAH'S QUAY moved into fourth spot and gave their European hopes a boost with a narrow victory at Latham Park.
In a game played at a fast pace, both defences generally remained in control, with the Robins' new signing Richard French trying manfully to unlock a stout visitors' rearguard.
But fortune favoured the Nomads when 12 minutes from time Marc Limbert's delivery found the knee of Chris Williams and the ball found the home net for his fifth league goal of the campaign.
But the win was soured for the visitors when joint leading scorer Adam Dickinson received his marching orders five minutes from time for a second bookable offence.
