IT was rough justice on Nomads' debutante keeper Danny Stanton when Newtown grabbed three goals in the final six minutes on Deeside.
The 19-year old from Rhydymwyn made some superb saves to deny the Robins in a game that produced a fair number of chances for both teams.
New signings Jamie Hughes and James Hussaney both when close for the home side, while returning striker Peter Smith saw his free kick for Newtown saved by the keeper.
Two more Smith efforts met the same fate, with Hughes and Andy Griffiths having efforts for Nomads before the break.
Stanton got a hand to Danny Barton's 84th minute free header but couldn't keep it out and a minute later Andrew Webb broke downfield for the second.
Smith finally found the net, although he appeared to foul Liam Jones on his way to adding his final minute goal.
