TNS eased to a comforable victory at a windswept Deeside Stadium with goals in either half from Nicky Ward and Steve Evans.
And with Newtown beaten 3-0 at NEWI Cefn Druids, the victory means the Saints will be certain of leading the Welsh Premier League whatever the outcome of the remaining weekend games.
Ken McKenna's men dominated possession from the off, but found it difficult to break down the defensive Nomads in the final third.
John Toner provided a 15th minute cross from which Marc Lloyd Williams went close while the only moment of danger came when Alan Morgan's free kick caused some panic in the TNS rearguard.
The breakthrough came on 36 minutes when Scott Ruscoe's cross found Nicky Ward who sent his header wide of keeper Paul Smith.
Within eight minutes of the restart Saints increased their lead as Steve Evans powered an 18-yard header from a right wing corner into the net.
TNS were then reduced to 10-men when Ward's robust 50-50 challenge left Chris Williams writhing on the deck for a second yellow card.
But Nomads lost keeper Paul Smith late in the game when he saved at Toner's feet outside the box to prevent an almost certain third goal.
