Kendall keeps Nomads at bay

NOMADS will feel unlucky not to have claimed all three points from a game played in atrocious conditions on Deeside.

County keeper Lee Kendall was the hero, denying Conall Murtagh, Phil Molyneaux and Gary O'Toole when all seemed certain to score.

The Bluebirds led against the run of play after Lee Hudgell had converted a Dylan Blain pass, but Quay were deservedly back on terms just after the break through Murtagh.

The Northern Ireland Under-21 cap then sent a thunderous 25-yard free-kick on target only for Kendall to again show his class and the keeper finished off by also denying O'Toole again.
