Llanelli off to a flyer

ALTHOUGH Cortez Belle got Llanelli off to a flyer with a third minute goal, the Reds made hard work of seeing off Nomads.

Belle rounded visiting keeper Paul Smith to open the home side's account, but they then spurned a number of golden opportunities to make the game safe.

Nick Harrhy was twice denied by Smith, while Belle shot wide from a Jacon Mingorance pass.

Nel Thomas had only the keeper to beat but sent his shot over the bar, but Ivan Nofuentes finally settle the Reds' nerves steering a shot inside the near post.

He was denied a second by another Smith save, while sub Stuart Rain was off-target for Quay before keeper Duncan Roberts saved superbly from Gary O'Toole and Rain.
