NOMADS' prodigal son Tommy Mutton capped his return to Deeside with a brace of goals to sink high-flying Welshpool.
After a scoreless first period in which Steve Rogers came close to giving the visitors the lead, it was Mutton who broke the deadlock on 55 minutes.
His solo run from midfield beat two defenders before he hammered a superb 25-yarder past helpless keeper Gerard McGuigan.
Eight minutes later the striker completed a dream return when he fired in from a narrow angle after good work by Ryan Crawford.
Signed for the second time from Rhyl, Mutton came close to grabbing a hat-trick with two efforts, with a late Rogers shot well saved by Paul Smith as Pool went in search of a consolation.
