Nomads end relegation fears

PHIL Molyneaux ensured another season of Welsh Premier football for Nomads with the only goal of the game on Deeside.

He fired his seventh goal of the season on the stroke of half-time after being set-up by Chris Williams to end relegation fears.

Quay were always in the ascendancy against already-relegated Quins, but failed to turn their superiority into goals, with Tommy Mutton lobbing over the target and Williams heading against the bar.

Ben Tingley and Dan Tanhai both went close for the plucky visitors, but Jamie Stacey almost handed Nomads a second near the end, with a back header that was smothered on the line by keeper Gareth Williams.
