NICK Tucker promised his Llanelli players a champagne coach ride back to South Wales - win or lose - and the bubbly must have tatsed sweet after a 3-1 victory on Deeside.
Although Connah's Quay created more chances, the Reds showed clinical finishing a stern defensive qualities to finish the season comfortably clear of relegation worries.
The visitors were in front when Craig Williams volleyed home from a Kaid Mohamed cross, but Nomads were level after the break when Dean Tuft supplied Tommy Mutton for a six-yard angled drive past keeper Gareth Williams.
Tuft was then in action on his own goal-line to clear from Craig Williams before Martin Rose rattled an upright with a header after Nomads' keeper Craig Bryan had saved from Peter Cheesman.
But Ricky Morgan restored Llanelli's lead on the hour with a 25-yard effort that clipped the underside of the bar and, three minutes later, Williams got his second with another long range exocet to end the Nomads' campaign on a disappointing note.
