Bangor cruise past uninspiring Nomads

BANGOR'S third home win in a week was a cruise against an uninspiring Connah's Quay. Kevin Scott blasted the Citizens ahead from a free kick after Clayton Blackmore had rattled a post with a rocket shot that resulted in a foul.

And City were further aheas three minutes later when Paul Roberts converted a spot kick after Craig Hutchinson had handled in the area.

In total control, Bangor should have added to their lead, but Eifion Jones sent a header against Craig Bryan's crossbar and Owain Tudor Jones screwed a shot wide of the post when well placed.

Roberts was also guilty of missing the target, but Peter Davenport's men ended the week on a happy note.
