STALEMATE at the Traeth with both sides having chances in a game that was hardly a classic.
Gareth Parry's 30-yarder for Port skidded across the wet turf and Lee Williams was only able to fumble the shot round his post.
Nomads' skipper Gareth Owen brought a good save from keeper Gerard McGuigan with a long-range effort and striker Tommy Mutton also tested the Port keeper with a 15-yarder.
In a final flurry, Parry sent a quick free-kick to Mike Foster but his shot from 25 yards was too high.
Port manager Viv Williams was relatively satisfied: "At least we are remaining solid and we know that we can play better," he said.
"It was a good point against Connah's Quay, who have been ranked among the better teams through the years, and we can take some comfort from that fact."
