LLANELLI continue to struggle on their return to the Welsh Premier, but improved on their opening day rout at Bangor.
The Reds offered little in attack and fell behind in the first-half to goals from Craig Hutchinson and Tommy Mutton.
Both the goals were gifted to the Nomads and came as a result of defensive blunders by Eddie May's side.
Nomads started well and got on the scoresheet after just four minutes when good work in the middle of the park saw Tommy Mutton released to beat the offside trap and run through unmarked on Huw Liddell's goal.
His shot was parried by the young goalkeeper but the ball rebounded to the edge of the area and Craig Hutchinson was able to slot home to put the visitors ahead.
Nomads doubled their advantage when Danny Jellicoe played a good long ball for Gareth Owen, who in turn fed Mutton and his effort from outside the box screamed past Liddell.
The visitors nearly added a third when Darren Williams was ruled to have handled after Nomads had little trouble holding their lead to record their first win of the campaign, with the Reds hardly ever looking like scoring. Their only real chance came on 14 minutes when Rob Shannon was only just wide with a volley from a corner.
