Eight Academy players selected for National Academi Programme

Connah's Quay Nomads are pleased to confirm that eight of our Academy players have been selected to represent the Cymru National Academi this October Half Term.

From our U13 and U14 age groups, the following players have been selected to join up with the National Academi Representative Programme; Noah Hind, Leo George Saxon, Zac Edwards, Alfie Jones, Jamie Davies, Riley Owen, Daniel Rowlands and Alfie Jones.

The players have been selected to take part in the event at FAW's northern base at Colliers Park and will see them take part in two training sessions and well as player development workshops.

Academy Director Jay Catton commented;
"A huge achievement for our eight U13 and U14 players in being selected for the National Academi Representative Programme.

The elite Programme is run by the FAW and will run across the season for the eight selected players and is a huge achievement for all selected.

A huge well done to Leo, Noah. Zac. Alfie and Jamie from our U14s along with Riley Owen, Daniel Rowlands and Alfie Jones from U13s.

A special mention goes to their respective coaches in Leighton Sumner, Ross Jones, Mason Blackwell-Jones, Kevin Jones and youth phase Goalkeeper coach John Weaver."
