Men's Scholarship Open Day - Thursday 19th February

Connah's Quay Nomads can confirm our second open event for our full time scholarship programme in partnership with the Steven Gerrard Academy will take place on Thursday 19th February. 

The event is open to all current Year 11 students and or 17/18 year olds wanting to train and play full time whilst gaining Level 3 in Sport qualification.

The open day will take place at Ty Calon (Deeside CH5 1SA) and will consist of;

The full day will consist of;
10:00 – arrival and introduction
11:00 – Strength and Conditioning session at partner Number One Gym
12:00 – lunch (provided for all attendees for free)
13:00 – pitch training
14:00 – debrief (including parents)
15:00 – leave

The full-time scholarship program is entering its twelfth season with the full-time program including;
3 Pitch sessions per week
2 Strength and conditioning sessions per week
4 leagues entered – Division 1 and 2 North West College Leagues, U18s reserve league and U19s Cymru Academi Development League (2 games per week chance for all players)
GPS for all scholars
Veo to film all sessions and games

Staffing for the program includes;
UEFA Pro and UEFA A License Coaches
UEFA B GK Coaches
Chartered Physio and Sports Therapists
Sports Science and Conditioning Staff
