Nomads To Face Queens Of The South In Conference League Warm Up

Connah’s Quay Nomads are pleased to confirm another of our pre-season friendlies today as we will face Scottish League One side, Queen of the South.

The fixture will take place at Palmerston Park in Dumfries, Scotland on Saturday 27th June with a 3pm kick off.

The side from Dumfries have recently appointed former Rangers striker, Nicky Clark as their new Manager having missed out on promotion to the Scottish Championship under former Manager Peter Murphy.

Queens finished third in the league but would lose out on penalties to Stenhousemuir in the Play Off Second Leg to end their hopes of promotion.

This fixture adds to our already confirmed pre-season matches against Brickfield Rangers and Hednesford Town, but be sure to stay tuned for more information on the remainder of our pre-season schedule.
