Cup Draw Information

Exciting cup ties await across Connah’s Quay Nomads after Men’s First Team, Women’s First Team and Development Team all discovered their opponents in the latest round of cup draws. 

Our Men’s First Team enter the FAW Welsh Cup in Round Two, and John Disney’s side were drawn at home against Novira Cymru North side Porthmadog. 


This will be our first meeting with Port since the 2017/18 Welsh Cup, where goals from Michael Bakare, Michael Wilde and George Horan saw us come from behind to earn a 3-1 victory in the fourth round.  


This tie will take place at the Essity Stadium on the weekend of 16-17 October. 

An official date and kick-off time for this fixture will be confirmed in due course. 

The Nomads’ Women’s First Team are faced with a journey along the North Wales coast for their Bute Energy Welsh Cup second qualifying round tie, as Andy Griffiths’ team are set to face fellow Genero Adran North side Bangor City 1876 at the Bangor City Stadium. 

Newly-appointed vice captain Hannah Slack scored for the Nomads Women in both Genero Adran North fixtures against Bangor last season, as we claimed 9-0 and 4-1 victories on our way to lifting a second consecutive league title. 


All Bute Energy Welsh Cup second qualifying round fixtures are scheduled for Sunday, 18 October (2pm KO). 

Our Development Team will also be visiting Bangor City 1876 in Round One of the Arena Projects Youth Cup Round One. Anthony Weaver’s side will compete in this tie on Sunday, 11 October (2pm KO).
