2021 European Campaign

Ahead of the start of the 2021/22 European Campaign, here is some useful information relating to dates, opposition and the relevant competitions.

Potential European routes
The Nomads will enter the UEFA Champions' League at Qualifying Round One, the same stage at which we faced FK Sarajevo last season. The 17 winners of Qualifying Round One will progress to Qualifying Round Two, however the losers will drop down into the Second Qualifying Round of the newly-formed UEFA Conference League, where they will face each other along with the three losing teams from the Champions' League Preliminary Round. This is a change from previous seasons which saw Champion's League losing teams drop into the Europa League.

However, should The Nomads progress beyond the First Qualifying Round in the Champions' League, we would then drop into the Europa League at whichever round we are eliminated, so for example, if we were to be eliminated from the Champions' League at Qualifying Round Two, we would then drop into Europa League Qualifying Round Three. Again, following elimination from the Europa League, the club would also then drop into the Europa Conference League at the following stage.

  ↪ Lose Champions' League QR2
    ↪ Enter Europa League QR3
    ↪ Lose Europa League QR3
      ↪ Enter Europa Conference Playoffs

Opposition
The Nomads enter the Champions' League as an unseeded team with a coefficient score of 4.750 - the highest unseeded team is Latvian side Riga with a score of 5.500. This means that we can face any of the seeded teams in the First Round as listed below;
