Opening day delight for Ladies

Sunday afternoon saw a fantastic start to the Adran North League for our ladies team who ran out 14-1 winners.

In a thumping performance which has seen The Nomads jump straight to the top of the league table after the opening day.

The goalscorers were;

Following the victory, Ladies Manager, Jordan Parry commented; "On reflection overall our performance was good. As a group, we all knew at half time we could have lifted the tempo and combined better with one another - although the score was 3-0 at the break, I didn't really feel we had complete control of the game until the second half."

"Credit to the girls, they reacted especially after conceding 5 minutes into the half which knocked them up a gear - a reality check almost. After that, the information at half time was really taken on board and we scored some excellent goals giving Denbigh relentless pressure right until the end, but the game is gone now and we look to build on the performance as we return to Denbigh on Sunday."
