Benvenuto Mello

Connah's Quay Nomads are pleased to confirm the signing of Giácomo Mello Corbellini.

Announced just before kick off on Saturday afternoon, we can now confirm that the Brazil-born Italian, better known as Mello is a 29 year old attacking midfielder that has most recently played at Bangor City in the JD Cymru North.

Mello has played in many different countries around the world, starting his career as an U20 at Brazilian side Botafogo - he would go on to spend spells at Limianos in Portugal before playing for Polish teams Ruch Chorzow and Zaglebie Sosnowiec before heading to Kazakhstan to play for Akzhayik Uralsk.

Mello's debut for Bangor saw him find the net twice in a 3-0 victory over Gresford Athletic in a Nathaniel MG Cup clash back in December 2020. During his time at Bangor, Mello scored eight goals in 17 starts.

Mello will wear the number 29 shirt for Nomads and will be available immediately.
