Young Duo make Cymru Premier debuts

Tuesday night saw the young duo of Josh Williams and Iwan Roberts make their Cymru Premier debuts for the first team in the 5-0 victory over Cefn Druids.

Whilst the result was a great one for the club and Mello was the star of the show with his impressive hat-trick, it was fantastic as a club to see two of our Development Squad players make their Cymru Premier bows.

Whilst being a part of the U19 Development Team, Josh has also been a part of the First Team squad for the majority of the campaign, being an unused substitute on a number of occasions making his first start in the Nathaniel MG Cup against Holywell Town earlier in the season, but this marked his first league appearance. Tuesday night's game saw Josh get a good 25 minutes on the pitch with an impressive second half showing from central midfield.

Iwan meanwhile has been a mainstay of the U19 team and has linked up with the first team more recently, having been named on the bench a few times throughout the season, but also managed to get his first team debut under his belt in the final few minutes on Tuesday night.
