Nomads awarded FAW Tier 1 Licence

Connah's Quay Nomads are delighted to confirm that our Men's First Team have received the FAW Tier 1 Licence for the 2022/23 season.

The First Instance Body (FIB) met on Thursday 7th April to assess and consider the applications made by clubs from the Cymru Premier, Cymru North and Cymru South.

Clubs are assessed on the following criteria;
• Sporting: Youth and Coaching
• Infrastructure
• Legal
• Personnel and Administration
• Financial and Codes of Practice

The FAW Tier 1 Licence is a requirement for clubs to compete in the JD Cymru Premier and we are delighted to confirm that we have recieved our Licence for the 2022/23 season following some diligent work by Club Secretary Will Catterall over the past month or so.

Whilst our Men's team were awarded the Licence at the first time of asking, our Women's team have been refused the Adran North Licence at the first instance, however have 10 days to submit our appeal which we will be doing in due course.
