Welcome back to Deeside Jack Kenny

Connah's Quay Nomads are delighted to announce that Jack Kenny has rejoined the club.

Kenny originally signed for The Nomads back in May 2018 but made just six starts and six substitute appearances before joining Cefn Druids in January 2019.

Since then, Jack has featured for Prestatyn Town, Caernarfon Town and most recently Flint Town United in the JD Cymru Leagues before making a brief move to Ashoton United in the summer. Jack's time under Neil Gibson at Flint last season saw hime strike up an impressive partnership with Mike Wilde, scoring 11 league goals in the 19 games he played with his Cymru Premier record reading 22 goals in 60 appearances.

Jack's last action at Deeside Stadium was a nightmare night for him that saw him leave the field on a stretcher with a dislocated and fractured elbow that kept him out for most of the remainder of the 2021/22 season.

On his return to Deeside, Jack commented; "I'm delighted to sign back at Connah's Quay. When the opportunity presented itself, I jumped at the chance. As you know, I've played for Gibbo for a number of years and I am fully aware of his expectations and how he wants to play. It's also a real pleasure to be back playing with former teammates and as it's a great group of lads. I'm hoping to make an impact as quickly as I possibly can and looking forward to the challenge."

On Jack's arrival at The Nomads, Neil Gibson commented;

Jack has already received international clearance and has been registered in time to be in the squad for Tuesday night's trip to Bala.
